Talent Pool event in Holcim Serbia

Talent pool is a source of students with high potential and fit, chosen from top universities of Serbia. 15-20 students get selected to the Talent Pool Event from an initial batch of about 200 student applicants. The selected students visit Holcim cement plant in Popovac to complete a 3.5 day business simulation. While learning through interactive business simulation sessions students get the opportunity to appreciate the work environment of a cement plant. Students also get to work on topics such as Health and Safety, Finance, Marketing and Human Resources during their plant based learning experience. Finally, all students are divided into groups and given case study to resolve, and one middle manager acting as a mentor per group. Case studies are then presented to company's management team, when final selection of talents is being done.
During whole event duration, students are in permanent touch with Holcim Serbia staff, which provides good frame for quality recruitment.
Selected students are either recruited immediately, or given internship and scholarships opportunities before joining Holcim at first adequate vacancy.
Career fairs in Mexico

UNAM is one of the highest rated universities in Latin America. It is one of the principal talent suppliers of Holcim Apasco. Every year, Holcim Apasco promotes Sustainable Construction Congresses focus on Architecture and Civil Engineering careers. Also Holcim Apasco takes part in job fairs of the university that has participation of around 10,000 applicants and sponsors some events. With this Holcim Apasco ensures that its name is always in the top of mind of the students from the top most university in Mexico.
Holcim Philippines Cadetship Program

The Cadetship Program of Holcim Philippines is a structured program designed to develop a pool of high potential employees who can be ready to support the current and future manpower requirements of the business.
A variety of technical and non-technical graduates undergo a distinct selection process. Successful applicants go through a Holcim designed training and development program from Indoctrination, Immersion and Specialization. The curriculum provides both classroom and on-the-job training.
At the end of the 12-month program and upon successful completion of the required performance standards, the Cadets assume a regular and full time position in the company.
Holcim Traineeship Program
Holcim Philippines provides opportunity to graduating students who would like to gain work experience (in a company) as part of their school curriculum.
Student Trainees undergo an assessment process before being deployed to a specific department. During the Traineeship period, each Student Trainee is assigned to a Holcim employee, who manages his performance and facilitates learning for the duration of the traineeship period.
At the end of the traineeship program, Student Trainees are evaluated based on the performance prescribed by Holcim and the school.
